OK \u2014 have been messing about with this thing for about a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context. <\/p>\n
The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing \u2014 I couldn’t ever figure out what an e\/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt. <\/p>\n
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most \u2014 you put in the price and your stake and it shows the return straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff \u2014 doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at dutching bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated. <\/p>\n
What actually shifted things for me were the nerdier extras. The probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion tool \u2014 I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections. <\/p>\n
It’s not perfect mind. Its interface feels very functional, let’s say \u2014 not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine though the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it \u2014 doesn’t bother me but worth saying. <\/p>\n
