How I found it was actually a bit daft \u2014 I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e\/w return actually was with 1\/5 odds a place. I used to just guess and get a shock. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt. <\/p>\n
The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily \u2014 type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones \u2014 doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the geekier bits. There’s an probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly criterion calculator \u2014 I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m splitting a race. <\/p>\n
Not all sunshine though. Its design looks very functional, let’s say \u2014 not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it’s browser only \u2014 fine by me but you asked. <\/p>\n
